New Mexico

Waste Management of New Mexico has proudly served New Mexico communities for 45 years. Our 243 employees, including 35 Veterans, are dedicated to delivering safe, efficient service to every customer.

We are working to help keep New Mexico a clean, green and safe place to live, work and play:

Community Cleanups: Each year, Waste Management employees serve their community by volunteering for community cleanups across New Mexico.

CNG Station and Trucks: Waste Management invested $10.8 million in 2018 to open a compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station and purchase 32 new CNG trucks. This investment will cut greenhouse gas emissions by 20 percent.

Waste Watch: Our Waste Watch-trained drivers provide an extra set of eyes in the community to assist local police and emergency responders.

Environmental Impact: In 2018, we collected 21,103 tons of bottles, cans, paper and cardboard for recycling. Recycling these materials will save:

  • 122 million gallons of water
  • 210,691 mature trees
  • 50 million kWh of electricity
